Revival Girls’ High School and Revival Junior School Board of Governors orientation.
On 30th January 2024, the Bishop of Ankole diocese, Rt Rev Assoc Prof Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa and Diocesen management held an orientation meeting of The Board of Revival Girls High School & Revival Junior School.
The Chair board of goveners for Revival Girls High School will be Rev Canon Sandra Mwebaze and the Chair board of governors for primary will be Mr. Francis Tumwebaze.
The Bishop Rt Rev Assoc Prof Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa welcomed the members and encouraged them to have faith and be hopefull that when the Lord is with them, no one can be against them.
The facilitator Mr. Arinaitwe Moses an Education and Health consultant in his words told the members that for the Board to work perfectly well, they have to fulfill the vision, mission and core values of the school. He went on to tell them the roles of a board such as resource moblisation, building the schools’ network, visiting the students etc. He then asked them to embrace technology to market the school like Youtube, website and much more.
On the same function, Mrs Kellen delivered a consignment of books that she lobbied from the Ministry of Education and Sports for school.
Bishop in his remarks thanked God so much for this meeting and for the far they have gone. He continued to express his appreciation to the members who had turned up for this orientation and said that the diocese trusts that they will do the job well.
